The route begins in the village of Erro and heads north, following concrete tracks and a short stretch of road to the village of Zilbeti. Surrounded by forest and mountains, Zilbeti sits in a small valley formed by the Adi, Tiratun, Arzabal, and Lizartxipi rivers.
