GR-322 NAVARRA XTREM STAGE 2: URKIAGA - LANTZ

This route offers breathtaking mountain views, challenging peaks and an exciting descent, ideal for nature lovers and hikers.

This route forms the second stage of the GR-322 Nafarroa Xtrem, a trail based on the course of the Nafarroa Xtrem mountain race held annually in late April with its start and finish in Zubiri. The stage begins at the Urkiaga pass. After following the GR-11 for a short distance, the route joins the GR-12 toward the Artesiaga mountain pass. It then climbs the peaks of Saioa and Zuriain before a long descent leads to the Itxesola post. This point marks the end of the stage, from which a ten-minute walk leads down to the village of Lantz.
