GR-225 STAGE 2: OLABE - SAIGOTS

From Olabe, the route follows the old Lurzei path, restored by local residents, to reach the ridgeline trail. Leaving the peak of Aliseto to the right, the path leads to the chapel of San Salvador. From there, the GR heads northeast to Leranotz and continues along the old road connecting the two villages to Saigots. This stage includes a variant known as 'de Usetxi' which passes through that village. One kilometre from Leranotz, a track on the left climbs to the village of Usetxi. The route crosses the village and heads east towards Oiezki before a descent leads back to the main path, less than a kilometre from the end of the stage in Saigots.
