The northern or French section of the Trans-Pyrenean Link GRT 13 joins the GR 12 at Col de Insole with the GR 10 at Cazette. Insole provides access to several destinations:
- Linza Refuge via the GR 12 and GRT 13 South: Col de Insole - Hoya del Portillo de Larra - Hoya de la Solana - Collado de Linza - Linza Refuge. This stretch covers 10.4 km and takes 3 hours 40 minutes.
- Belagua Refuge via Añiberkandía and Bertuzko: 9.4 km and 2 hours 50 minutes.
- Cazette (connecting with the French GR 10): 8 km and 3 hours 55 minutes.
From Cazette, the route continues north along the GR 10 for 1.4 km and 40 minutes to reach the Laberouat refuge.
