Standing on high ground, its nickname "Castillo" suggests an ancient fortification. The current 16th-century building follows a Greek cross plan. Semicircular windows illuminate the simple interior and its wooden choir. A late 12th-century Romanesque image of the Virgin and Child presides over the temple. A simple belfry tops the façade above a 17th-century doorway.
