The Larra Nature Reserve comprises an immense limestone massif, one of the most significant karst formations in Europe. The highest peaks of the Navarrese Pyrenees tower over the landscape, where stunning black pine forest shelters chamois, capercaillies, ptarmigans, and birds of prey. The reserve also holds status as a Special Protection Area for Birds.
Tribute of the Three Cows
This place offers a unique historical ceremony every 13th of July, where an ancient peace treaty is celebrated with a ritual involving the handing over of cows.
