Chapel of Our Lady of Zuberoa

Located on Mount Calveira, it offers spectacular views of the valley and is accessed via a picturesque footpath. It houses altarpieces and a Baroque pulpit.

The chapel sits 3 km from the village of Garde on Mount Calveira and offers spectacular views of the valley. A beautiful footpath reaches the site in less than an hour. The building hosts four annual pilgrimages in honor of the Virgin of Zuberoa, a 13th-century Romanesque carving that tradition says a bull found in 1569. The chapel follows a Latin cross plan and houses Baroque altarpieces and a pulpit.
