A route offering spectacular views, military history and a charming place of worship, ideal for lovers of nature and cultural heritage.
Starting at the Arrazola reception area (835 m), the route shares its first section with the Anbulolatz trail. It climbs the valley toward Orion along a path parallel to the stream. At the Orionzilo watering hole (aska), it leaves the forest and climbs through pastures to the summit of Azalegi (1,165 m), which features a concrete tunnel from the 1936 war. From the summit, it descends along indistinct paths to the San Esteban chapel (1,080 m), rebuilt in the 1960s. The descent to Arrazola is steep.
