Enjoy a peaceful stroll alongside a reservoir, surrounded by nature, with views of historic ruins and a serene atmosphere ideal for unwinding.
This short, pleasant walk begins at the car park next to the access to the Irabia reservoir dam at 830 m, sharing the same starting point as the Walk around the Irabia Reservoir. The route crosses the dam wall and follows a beautiful, flat path along the reservoir to a clearing in the forest and the ruins of the old Casa Antxorena. At this point, the trail leaves the Vuelta route and climbs slightly southwards to reach a track. It then runs gently downhill toward the dam, where it leaves the track and follows a path for about 200 metres down to the reservoir wall.
