Discover lush forests, historic ruins and breathtaking views on a circular route that combines nature and cultural heritage.
The route starts at the Orbaizeta Factory (820 m) and runs through the species-rich forest of the Itolatz ravine. A steep climb through the forest leads to the ruins of Arlekia Castle (1,020 m), an ancient fortress overlooking the valley. The trail returns to the main path and climbs through the forest to a hill with a wire fence. From there, a path through boxwoods and ferns leads to Lauzaran Hill (1,005 m), where the descent through the forest to a small hill begins. The route ignores the detour to Usategieta-Nabala and descends to the Itolatz stream. After crossing the stream, the track returns to the Orbaizeta Factory, completing a circular route.
