Enjoy a picturesque walk along the river, with views of fir trees and the El Cubo waterfall, ideal for nature lovers and hikers.
The route begins at the Virgen de las Nieves welcome area at an altitude of 855 metres, near the information booth. The path follows the track along the left bank of the River Urbeltza before turning onto a trail that winds close to the riverbank. It follows the old road used before the forest track was opened, leading to the Austegia area and its fir forest, passing near the El Cubo or Itsuosin waterfall. After a short, steep climb, the path rejoins the track and returns to the starting point.
