Enjoy a walk among beech trees and views of the Irati River valley, ideal for lovers of nature and tranquillity in a unique setting.
The route starts at the Virgen de las Nieves welcome area at an altitude of 855 metres. It follows the forest track toward the Irabia reservoir before turning onto the Los Barranqueadores path. This path climbs halfway up the southern slopes of the La Cuestión and Zabaleta mountains and passes over the Erroiarria rocks, where the open terrain offers views of the narrow Irati River valley. After returning to the track, the route continues to the disused "Casa Forestal" at the end of the reservoir. The return journey follows a path through the forest alongside the Zabaleta stream, with the final section returning to the main track. At the "Casa Forestal", the trail connects with the Vuelta al embalse (Reservoir Tour), SL NA-53C.
