A challenging route offering breathtaking views of beech forests and the River Urtxuria, ideal for nature lovers and hikers.
The route follows the old road to Koixta. It begins at 855 m, approximately 300 m before the Virgen de las Nieves welcome area. It runs along a narrow, steep path unsuitable for small children or inexperienced hikers. The path climbs through a beautiful beech and fir forest on the left bank of the River Urtxuria. It leads to a forest track that reaches the small Koixta reservoir after 1 km. From there, the route returns along the same path or you can take the SL-NA 60A or the Camino Viejo a Casas de Irati.
