Enjoy an easy walk along the river, surrounded by nature and culture, passing by the Gayarre Mausoleum and beautiful forests.
The Murmullos del Esca route follows an easy and pleasant path parallel to the Esca River. It passes the famous Gayarre Mausoleum and several riverside and pine forests. Much of the route follows the Camino Real, so it uses white, red, and green markings instead of the standard white and green of SL trails. The itinerary begins at the Roncal cemetery and runs parallel to the Esca River at all times. It follows a track and then a path through the pine forest before returning to Roncal along the same route.
