GR-11 STAGE 5: AURITZ - HIRIBERRI

Discover unique landscapes and breathtaking views on a route that links charming villages and a medieval bridge in an exceptional natural setting.

The GR-11 trails circle around the southern part of Irati, passing through the villages of Orbara and Hiriberri. To do so, the GR-11 trails head east, passing through Nabala, the Usategieta junction and the track that descends through Itolatz. From there, it climbs to the wooded peak of Latxaga, but not before leaving the GRT-8 on its left, which heads to the Orbaizeta Arms Factory and then links up with the GR-10 at Col d'Irau, after passing through Azpegi, Ezkanda and Erroitzate. On the descent to Aitzartea, we can enjoy exceptional views of Irati after leaving the forest. The routes leaves Orbara via its medieval bridge to reach Hiriberri.
