The route explores the surrounding forests. It begins in the valley where the Lojanz spring is located and follows a dirt track that climbs through the forest to Portillo de Contín, a discreet and secluded pass. After crossing the plateau, the path continues to climb, becoming a faint trail that leads to an elongated meadow at the highest point of the route. The descent follows a trail through dense forest and then along a track through more open terrain.
