Starting in Garaioa, the route climbs through meadows and forests of boxwood, hawthorn, heather, juniper, hazelnut, and oak. Mares and foals often graze along these stretches. After passing a bothy on the left, the itinerary follows two signposts and climbs a dirt track to a junction on the right leading to the viewpoint. The return follows the same route back to the track and descends to Garaioa.
